Chilled and frozen, kept honest
Refrigerated freight is not simply general freight in a cold box. The load has to be pre-cooled, the unit has to be at set point before the first pallet goes on, and the temperature has to be recorded across the whole journey — not just checked at each end.
We run to a documented set point agreed at booking, and the trace goes with the consignment. If you are supplying a major retailer or a food service distributor, that record is usually a condition of acceptance rather than a nicety.

What we move
- Fresh produce and horticulture out of the growing regions
- Meat, seafood and smallgoods
- Dairy and chilled beverage
- Frozen food service product
- Temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and industrial goods
Where cold chain breaks
Almost never in the middle of a run. It breaks at the two ends — product loaded warm because it came straight off a line, or a trailer sitting open on a dock in a Brisbane summer while paperwork gets sorted. Both are process problems, and both are worth talking about before the first load rather than after the first rejection.
Mixed loads
Chilled and frozen can travel together where the trailer is set up for it, but the set point has to suit the more sensitive product. If you are moving both, tell us the split and we will tell you honestly whether it needs one trailer or two.
